The innovative circular 300.000 bbls FPSO designed by Sevan Marine ASA was transported on a heavy lift cargo vessel from China to Rotterdam in May 2006 for final completion and installation of the topside process and marine equipment.
Keppel Verolme's scope of work entailed the outfitting of marine and process equipment and final completion of all works. The contract included; receiving, temporary storing, pre-assembling and installation of process skids, pressure vessels piping and valves. Further work carried out included the fabrication and installation of steel structures and the hook-up of marine systems such as cranes and offloading station.
The FPSO has a oil storage capacity of 300,000 barrels, an oil processing capacity of 30,000 barrels per day and a gas injection capacity of 3.6 million m³ per day.
