After the successful outfitting of the FPSO unit Sevan Piranema in 2006, Keppel Verolme received the second FPSO of Sevan Marine named Sevan Hummingbird.
The unit arrived in April 2007 as an empty steel hull built in China. Keppel Verolme's scope of work entailed the outfitting of marine and process equipment. Works included the installation of central shaft with pump modules, process modules and mechanical equipment, installation of piping, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation systems, plus a complete outfitting of the accommodation block with HVAC and architectural works.
The FPSO has an oil processing capacity of 30 000 bbls/day and a water injection capacity of 20 000 bbls/day.
