The unit was docked for cleaning and survey of the spudcans.
After completion of the spudcan inspection rig was jacked up at yards quayside for several activities amongst others renewal of part of the bowleg toothrack, the drill floor plating and lifeboat platforms, davits and lifeboats. Repairs to the existing drive pipe platform and jacking electro motor. Furthermore yard carried out the fabrication and installation of a drive pipe platform extension deck, testing of the electrical circuit breakers, cleaning of ballast and fuel tanks and modification of the H.P. mud piping and main seawater ballast piping system.
After completion the "GSF Labrador" was towed to her new location in the Rita Field in the UK sector of the North Sea.
